r_fastsky 1 this will remove the skybox however, your problem with the sky comes from your drivers, I guess you're on win7? Update your graphic drivers to the last version and see how it goes.

Also note that if you are with ATI - ATI cards are known to be problematic on quake engine games.

lo descargas y el te busca las librerias que te faltan y las instala
